The Institute for the Study of Christianity and Culture (ISCC) was formed in 1999.  Its purpose is to provide a forum where members of the academy and thoughtful people of faith can gather and discuss issues relating to the interaction of Christianity with culture. ISCC conferences enable thinking people to engage each other on points of difference, present different perspectives, and through this process provide a greater understanding of the subjects being examined.

The ISCC is a 501 C3 not-for-profit academic research institution focusing on the interaction between Christianity and culture. The ISCC is not affiliated with any church or religious organization.
